An Action Relating to Health, Education and Human Services Committee; Recommending for approval by the Naabik'iyati' Committee the renewed designation of the Tsehootsooi Medical Center of the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. as a Navajo Nation "Tribal Organization" for a period of five (5) years, for the purpose of contracting with the United States Indian Health Service and authorizing it to negotiate and enter into Title I, Indian Self-Determination Act (P.L. 93-638, as amended) contracts, such designation of "Tribal Organization" being revocable and contingent on compliance with all terms and condition as required
Legislation Description
The purpose of this legislation is to approve the five year continued designation of "tribal organization" to the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. for the purposes of providing medical services on the Navajo Nation under P.L. 93-638 (as amended).
