Legislation Description
The purpose of the resolution is to approve the Navajo Division of Transportation 2016 Tribal Transportation Program Deliverables package to be submitted to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Regional Office. Exhibit A, attached hereto, consists of the update package for 2016 consists of a letter of January 11, 2016 from the President of the Navajo Nation to the Regional Director; a letter of March 15, 2016 from Garrett Silversmith, Division Director, Navajo Nation Division of Transportation to the Bureau of Indian Affairs Regional Director; the 2016 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Updates; the 2016 Long Range Transportation Plan Addendum; and, the Tribal Transportation Program Public Involvement Certification.
