Legislation Description
This resolution, if approved, authorizes the Navajo Housing Authority, the Navajo Nation TDHE to submit an application to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to participate in the Tribal HUD-VASH Demonstration Program. The program will provide rental assistance and supportive services to Native American veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness living on or near a reservation or other Indian areas.
