Legislation Description
The purpose of the resolution is to approve expenditure of the Land Acquisition Trust Fund "fund principal" in the amount of $5,140,281.50 for the purchase, closing costs, renovation, architect design and construction; to waive Section VI. (C) of the Navajo Nation Land Acquisition Rules and Regulations. The expenditure of principle of the Navajo Nation Land Acquisition Trust Fund requires a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the full membership of the Navajo Nation Council.
