Legislation Description This resolution if approved, will allow the Navajo Nation Council to support New Mexico proposed legislation aimed at capping interest rates that predatory payday loan centers can charge to 36 percent per year and voiding out contracts for loans that do not have the 36% cap which protects Navajo consumers.
