The purpose of the resolution is override the President's veto of Navajo Nation Council resolution number CMA-14-16. The President purports to "line-item veto" this legislation in its entirety. In essence, the resolution was "vetoed" under Navajo Nation law and is therefore subject to override by the Navajo Nation Council.
