Return to Public Reports Legislation Details Resolution Number NABIAU-46-15 Legislation Number 0239-15 Legislation Title An Action Relating to Health, Education and Human Services and Naabik'iyati'; Supporting the Navajo Birth Cohort Study; Recommending Increased Federal Funding in the Amount of $3.5 million per year through Fiscal Year 2020 for Purposes of Continuing the Navajo Birth Cohort Study on the Navajo Nation Legislation Description This resolution supports the Navajo Birth Cohort Study; the resolution also recommends increased federal funding directly to the Navajo Nation in the amount of $3.5 million to continue the Cohort Study, or directing the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry to provide $3.5 million for the study, consisting of $2 million to the University of New Mexico for research and $1.5 million to the Navajo Nation department of health for carrying out its duties under the research plan.
