Legislation Description This resolution, if approved, will certify that the Navajo Nation has met the Citizen Participation requirements that are set forth in 24 CFR 1003.604. In order to apply for the Indian Community Development Block Grant through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the year 2015, the Navajo Nation must also show that it has complied with certain federal requirements, including furnishing Navajo Nation residents with information for the proposed community development (known as “Citizen Participation” requirements).
