Legislation Description
This resolution, if approved, will approve supplemental funding from the unreserved, undesignated fund balance (UUFB) in the amount of $270,000.00 for Tiis Tsoh Sikaad Fencing Project and waiving 12 N.N.C. §§ 820(1) and 860(C). The Project will reconstruct a fence between District 13 and Districts 12, 14 and 15 and the reconstruction will control the livestock from roaming from one district to another; will reduce the number of stray horses and unidentified livestock in the area; and will facilitate the maintenance of the projected carrying capacities within the respective districts and, thereby, prevent overgrazing.
