Legislation Description
This resolution will amend 24 N.N.C. § 605(B), the Navajo Nation Tax Code. Regarding the enactment of sales taxes by local governance-certified chapters (within rates allowed), the requirement of a majority vote of registered voters will be changed to a majority of votes cast by registered voters (if proposed amendment approved).
