If Approved, this Resolution Will Support Senate Bill 3221 Titled “A Bill to Place a Moratorium on Large Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations, to Strengthen the Packers and Stockyards Act, 1921, to Require Country of Origin Labeling on Beef, Pork, and Dairy Products, and for Other Purposes.” This Resolution also Requests an Amendment to the Packers and Stockyard Act of 1921 to Include Statutory Language for the Navajo Nation to Establish Slaughterhouses and Packing Facilities Within Navajo Nation.
